Tầm Wheels began in 2017 as a small operation with three cars and a simple idea: that renting a vehicle in Vietnam should feel straightforward, not stressful. The founders — a pair of longtime friends who spent years working in Saigon's tourism and logistics sectors — saw how often visitors and locals alike struggled to find well-maintained rental cars with honest pricing.
Rather than chasing rapid expansion, the team focused on keeping a modest fleet in top condition. Every car is regularly serviced, cleaned between rentals, and inspected before handover. That patience paid off — word-of-mouth referrals from satisfied customers steadily grew the business without the need for aggressive promotion.
Today, Tầm Wheels operates from a central District 1 location on Lê Thánh Tôn, within easy reach of hotels, business districts, and transit hubs. The fleet has grown to include compact city cars, versatile crossovers, and spacious minivans, but the core principle remains the same: keep the vehicles honest and the pricing clear.
The company name, "Tầm," loosely translates to "reach" or "range" — a nod to the freedom a good car can give you. Whether that means a quick errand across town or a multi-day drive along Vietnam's coast, the aim is always to put a reliable vehicle in your hands and let the journey speak for itself.
